About this site

Sex Life: Things I See is written by me, your interpreter. It is an archive of ordinary observations.

Individual posts are numbered by day of the year. The specific date the post was written does not matter, as these observations are possible any day, though perhaps with different outcomes (I've not tested this theory). However, I do note the day of the year and time of day. Specifically, I do think the time of day and time of year play a factor in my observations, but I'm not sure that a particular date does. My feelings and attentions are different throughout the year and during the day, which affect my overall observations.

Each post describes an object I see and a possible reason that object needed describing. I take great effort to understand what the object means to me at the time stated on each post. For some reason, I am drawn to consider this moment, and I share that moment with you. I do my very best not to rewrite or editorialize content because I want to preserve the moment's authenticity.

Sometimes objects conjure memories of people or places. When these memories are brought into my mind, I try very hard to redirect my attention to the object under consideration. I don't use names and try to be vague about these stray thoughts, as I do view them as distraction in the moment of writing. However, the object did elicit these other memories, so I do include them too. I think it's only fair.

Despite the title of this publication, content are not explicitly sexual. This is merely a statement of fact.

Thank you for reading.
